Hi I am with Twin Lakes Probus and planing a trip to Midland in yhe last 2 wks. of June or the fst. wk. of july.This is a seniors group and there would be app.47
in the group. How long dose it take to go through the museum is it on your own
or guided?Would there be any of the museum out side to see?

Hi Grant, thanks for your question. Our museum features both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Most people take approximately 1 hour to view our indoor galleries and exhibits, although some take more or less depending on their level of interest. Outdoors, we are pleased to offer a reconstruction of a “pre-contact” Huron/Ouendat village complete with a lookout tower and a longhouse. Guided tours of the village last approximately 45 minutes to an hour and can be booked in advance. Our indoor exhibits are self-guided. Huronia Museum is located in Midland, Ontario, Canada. It features a replica of a “pre-contact” Huron/Ouendat village, including a lookout tower, wigwam and a full-size longhouse.
The museum also features an exhibit gallery featuring tens of thousands of historic artifacts ranging from photographs, native archaeology and art by members of the Group of Seven, and others.
