The point of this blog is to positively, constructively discuss the Huronia Museum and its place in the community, as well as the history, heritage, and culture that the HM covers or could potentially cover.

A blog runs on postings but more importantly on the dynamic of dialogue, discussion through comments. A standard web page is largely a one way communication device. A succesful blog fosters two way or multi-way communication.

Comments are moderated.

  1. Be responsible.
  2. Share information, teach if you can, learn all you can.
  3. Respect others Treat them as you would have them treat you.
  4. Constructive ideas are desired.
  5. Destructive attacks will not be tolerated.
  6. If it is not your original writing or other material then cite sources, respect copyright.
  7. Reflect on the impact of what you post with particular attention to archaeological sites.
  8. No obscenities.
  9. You need to be a user of WordPress.com (no cost) in order to comment.
  10. All comments are moderated and do not appear instantly in the blog.

  1. The HUMM project is moving along quite well we have had 3 full buckets of coins turned in and the HUMM DRUM is slowly starting to show some signs of filling be it slowly. I urge all people who read this blog to come into the museum and help us fill up the HUMM drum. Bring in those piggy banks,jars of pennies and coins and lets get the HUMM drum a workout
