Colouring Contest Rules and Regulations


Eligibility: The Contest is open to anyone aged 19 years or older. Limit of one entry per person.

Contest and Judging Criteria: To enter the Contest, submit your colouring of Huronia Museum Colouring Page to Huronia Museum, 549 Little Lake Park R. Midland Ontario, during regular business hours; Monday through Sunday 9:00am– 5:00pm or mail your entry to Huronia Museum PO Box 638 Midland Ontario L4R 4P4. Include your name, email,  and daytime phone number. Contest begins on June 12th, 2017 and ends on September 15th, 2017. Entries must be received by 5pm on September 15th, 2017.

If you would like to keep your finished entry when the contest is over, you can pick it up at Huronia Museum until December 24th 2017. You understand that after this date, they will be unavailable.

To be eligible, an entry must be the entrant’s original colouring. Coloured entries will be pulled randomly from a box.  Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

The potential winners will be contacted by telephone or email, and must reply within 7 DAYS to maintain eligibility. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact, such potential winner will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and the museum reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select another potential winner.

Prize:  The winner of the contest will receive 2 tickets to Huronia Museum’s Murder Mystery Evening, It Came from the Lake, to take place on October 14, 2017. If a winner does not claim the prize within 7 DAYS of notification, the next eligible entry selected by the judging criteria set out in these rules will be contacted, and the first potential winner will have no further claim to the prize. Huronia Museum will not mail or courier the prize and is not responsible for unclaimed prizes.

Privacy:  We use your personal contact information to administer contests, including contacting, announcing and promoting prizewinners.

Banning: Huronia Museum may, in its sole discretion, prohibit any person from entering the Contest whom it believes to be abusing the rules. Such abuse includes entering false information and entering more than once.

Other:  This Contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein and is void where prohibited by law. Huronia Museum reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest or the Contest rules at any time without notice. All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. Huronia Museum reserves the right to substitute any prize or portion of the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The museum is not liable for any lost, late, misdirected or stolen entries or inability to process entries, or any errors, damage or negligence that may arise in connection with this Contest. Huronia Museum is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.
