Craft Your Own History: Atlatl & Arrow Workshop Series!
Looking for a unique, hands-on way to connect with local culture and community this fall? Join us at Huronia Museum for a bi-weekly workshop series running through September to November!
Under the guidance of Shawn Corbier from M’Chigeeng First Nation, you will:
- Craft your very own functional atlatl (ancient spear-thrower) and arrows on site.
- Learn active throwing techniques with hands-on outdoor lessons.
- Connect and practice alongside others in a friendly and supportive learning environment
Whether you’re looking to develop fine-motor crafting skills, gain deeper Indigenous cultural insights, or simply try something new, this workshop is designed to build confidence and community.
