I am the neice of the Purser Bill Paxton. I travelled on this ship many times from the Lake Head to Port McNichol and sat at the Captains table with my family. I have old family scrap books with many photos of the SS Keewatin , my step Uncle and family members. Bill Paxton was a “home child” my grandparents took in and raised. He started off as a dock worker and then a baggage handler and after many promotions the Purser. I would be glad to share some of the photos if you would like.
