I have spent a little time exploring the available extras offered by WordPress.com (our blog base) and also added some links (see Blogroll in the sidebar) and a map widget (below Blogroll in the sidebar)not sure how we might use this, but perhaps someone will think of something).
We can simplify, add more, add different things. Ideas, suggestions are welcome.

This past week an unusual group of tourists visited the Huronia Museum. About 30 students, military personnel from around the world attending courses at Base Borden, spent a post-exams “relaxation” day visiting Midland while their exam were being marked. They visited the museum, Ste. Marie Among the Hurons, had lunch and got a chance to see small town Ontario life. Base Borden has 18 schools for various military education programs and trains students from around the world. Groups of these special students visit the museum about 6 times a year.
