The Board of Directors and Staff of Huronia Museum would like to invite the museum membership to join them for our Annual General Meeting at the museum on Sunday, April 26th, 2015 at 1 pm in the Museum’s Auditorium.
Three positions are available on the board of directors. A potential Director shall be nominated by another member in good standing. nominations will be closed 48 hours prior to the Annual General Meeting. Directors museum be members in good standing; membership can be purchased at the Huronia Museum.

Huronia Museum is pleased to announce the launch of its “Ambassador Pass”  for residents of Midland, Ontario.

As of February 2015, individuals who reside in Midland, Ontario can visit Huronia Museum free of charge when they visit with friends and family from out of town.   Residents can bring a piece of identification with their Midland address and will be admitted free of charge.

Huronia Museum is open 5 days a week from 9 am to 5 pm until May 16, 2015.   The museum will be open 7 days a week as of May 16, 2015.

Huronia Museum is pleased to welcome Dr. Andrew Nicholls as our guest speaker for the evening.

 Dr. Nicholls has co-curated a collection of First World War postcards from the Richard J. Whittington collection into an online exhibit, which contains pictures and illustrations representing prevalent cultural themes from war time and the spirit of the people.  His talk will offer us an insight into the many moods, sentiments and emotions of Canadians during this time or war and help us to commemorate the brave contributions made by so many in World War I.

Dr. Nicholls is currently a Professor at Buffalo State University and a native of Midland, Ontario.
