Thor Hansen designs to get wider exposure

The HM is in talks with Jean Field whose company based in Aurora, Ontario, provides designs for Canadian crafters to develop an ongoing relationship to give wider exposure to the designs of Thor Hansen. Field saw the Hansen show by the Textile Museum two years ago and noted that 65% of the show came from the HM collection of Hansen materials. This collection has been built by the efforts of curator Jamie Hunter over the past 20 years. The Hansen materials are displayed in a separate room of the museum.
