In part 2 of our tour, Eric takes us through the Flowerpot lounge and shows us where the crew lived when they weren’t working hard for passengers.
In June of 2012, the S.S. Keewatin returned to Port McNicoll after 46 years away from home (in the loving care of Douglas, Michigan). The whole community showed up to welcome her back.
So far, not many people have had access to the inside of the great luxury vessel. One month later, Huronia Museum was given a special tour by Ships Master Eric Conroy. Our cameras were rolling!
