Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt 2024

Hop into spring with Huronia Museum’s popular annual Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th, 2024 from 1 to 3 PM.

Your little ones can search through the darkened museum for bright, glowing Easter eggs!

The cost is just $2 per child (cash only, please) plus a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Salvation Army of Midland.

Once again, this event is generously sponsored by the Midland Lions Club.

Debate Series – April 5, 2024

UPDATE 2024/04/05 – This event has been postponed.

The gloves are off in Midland with the introduction of the Huronia Museum Debate Series.  Two skilled debaters square off on topics ranging from the critical to the absurd.

In the first installment of our series, we tackle both sides of the statement, “Cursive Should Be Taught in Our Schools.”  Our two debaters spark a lighthearted examination of each position.

Who decides the winner?  YOU!

Do you agree with our proposition or disagree?  Could one of our debaters change your mind?  Find out Friday, April 5, 2024 at 6:30pm at Huronia Museum.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

Zombie Makeup Fun

On October 24, 2015, Huronia Museum will be hosting its first ever Picnic of the Living Dead zombie walk!  In preparation, makeup expert Katie showed off some of her special-fx makeup skills by turning Bryan into a member of the undead.

Katie will be available on October 24 for anyone who would like to learn some zombie makeup FX of their own, such as bit marks, dead eyes or rotting flesh!
