Huronia Museum's Jill Bremner gets ready for Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee
This Sunday, February 12, 2011, Huronia Museum will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II with a new exhibit along with formal tea and live music.
The event begins at 1:30 PM and goes until 4:00 PM. Admission is FREE!
Huronia Museum hosts thousands of school-aged children every year, offering a variety of educational programs for students and teachers. One of our most popular programs is called Festival of Lights, which teaches children about celebrations that take place all around the world. Education Co-ordinator Gillian Ross tell us more.
Annual General Meeting
of Huronia Museum Membership
will take place on Saturday, February 11th, 2012
At 2:00 pm
Meeting will be in the museum’s auditorium at 549 Little Lake Park Road, Midland, Ontario.
Revised Endowment Fund by-law #3-11 and revised Letters Patent to include new activities in the museum’s statement of purpose to be presented to the membership.
Four positions are available on the board of directors. Directors must be members in good standing; membership can be purchased at the Huronia Museum.
