Film Challenge Screening – November 26

Last Friday night, three teams participated in the first Huronia Museum 48-Hour Film Challenge.  All three teams finished on time, but just barely!

Their challenge pack consisted of the following:

Genre – Comedy

Theme – Civic pride

Phrase – “Never Again.”

Prop – Red umbrella (included)

The teams then had 48 hours to write, film and edit their films of 10 minutes or less.  If you’d like to see how they made out, come to see the screening this Friday, November 26 at the museum.  Tickets are $10 at the door.

More P.A. Day Camps!

After a successful start to our series of P.A. Day camps we are gearing up for
more.

Friday, November 19 is a P.A. Day for the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board and we will be offering a camp for any of those parents whose children might be off that day.

Monday, November 22 is a P.A. Day for the Simcoe County District School Board, so we will have another camp running that day.

Like the last one, these camps will run from 9 to 5.  The cost is $20 for the day.  We play games, do crafts and, weather permitting, enjoy some outdoor play time.

Spaces for these camps is limited so pre-registration is required.  For more information or to register a camper contact Gillian at Huronia Museum 526-2844.
