Art Show – Peter Marrek

• Peter for many years was a professional photographer in the Kitchener/Waterloo area
• he is widely considered to be the successor to Bud Watson as the pre-eminent landscape photographer of Georgian Bay

• “Hard Shoreline” A show of photographs of Georgian Bay
• 49 large photographs and a dozen photo image plaques

Recent donation to the HM by Mike Bourrie:  watch clock and watch clock station used at the Simcoe Elevator in Midland. The watch clock had to be wound each Saturday.  The guard would move to various watch stations throughout the elevator and key in on a time schedule.  The key activated a record in the watch clock.  Mike Bourrie worked at the elevator from 1966 to Feb. 1994 when the elevator was torn down.
