Lottie Wolf nameplate
In 1892 the wooden sailing vessel, the Lottie Wolf, was carrying a load of corn from Michigan to Collingwood and struck a shoal off Hope Island. The rock on which she struck is now known as Lottie Wolf Rock. The lighthouse keeper on Hope Island retrieved the nameplate. James Barry donated the nameplate to the museum for which we are very grateful.
