The museum remains closed today and tomorrow for due to the flood earlier this week.  We are however offering tours of the Huron Ouendat village still.   Please call for further information 705-526-2844

The main gallery floor and admissions area is currently flooded.  The museum will remain closed until we are able to care for artifacts affected by the flood and  allow visitors to safely tour our museum.  We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be open by the end of the day.

Please note that the Gallery of Historic Huronia which houses our collection of works by the Group of Seven, W.J. Wood, Mary Hallen and other notable local artists is currently being put back together after a lengthy roof repair throughout the spring and early summer of 2014.  We expect to have this gallery back together for visitors to enjoy in the coming weeks.

We currently have a reduced admission price to the Huronia Museum until repairs to this room are complete.  Please check in with us  to keep up on this project.
