Questions about accessing the collections or conducting research?

Huronia Museum is pleased to provide the public access to the museum’s collection, archives, and in situ library.  The Museum does not have a full-time researcher on staff.  Huronia Museum must assess its ability to conduct research or a photograph search with each request.  Simple information requests that do not involve more than 10 minutes of staff time will be completed free of charge, as staff availability allows, we unfortunately have to limit this to one inquiry per person within a calendar year.

We ask that the researchers make an appointment for research inquiries, and access to the collection, or retrieval of images.   Researchers who wish to access the in situ library or vertical research files, which include genealogical materials, should also make an appointment prior to arriving.

Research inquiries can be made by filling out the form in the link below.
