Attend the 18th annual Huronia Museum fundraising dinner at the Midland Legion starting at 5.30 pm on Saturday, April 18th, 2009. Bring a friend and support the exciting topics that will be presented about this area’s fascinating history.
This year’s event features Dr. Andrew Nicholls, Associate Professor of History at Buffalo State University in Buffalo New York. Dr. Nicholls will be speaking about Samuel de Champlain and the Kirkes; Canada’s First War and its impact on the French and Hurons. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, a wonderful meal, served by the Legion’s Women’s Auxiliary and a chance to participate in the silent auction, raffles and possibly win a door prize.
The cost for this event if $50.00 per person with a $30.00 tax receipt to be issued for each ticket purchased, which supports the museum’s many important heritage activities.
