Does anyone recognise this man? This photo of an unidentified sitter was discovered in the research files in the museum’s library. We all feel he looks familiar, but can’t place him. Thanks for your help!
The museum has a lot of photos of unidentified people and locations. So, if you have a long memory and feel you’d like to give it a good workout, let us know.

The museum was recently given a number of photographs of the cast of the small theatre company that was co-founded by Joan Hanna, and which performed at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, in Midland. Of the collection, this photo, of the 1954 production of “Take It Easy”, is the only one for which the cast was not identified. Comparing this to the other photos, I have managed to identify:

Standing: Orm Rice, ?, Grace McMullen, Bill Hanna, ?.
Sitting: Howard Smyth, Esther Brighty, Rhoda Smyth, ?, ?, Joan Hanna, ?.

Am I correct? It would be great if we could identify the rest of the cast.

I could use some help identifying this group of skiers, presumably all from the Midland area. I believe this photo was taken in the late 1950s.
If you learn one thing today, I hope it is that you must always, thoroughly, identify each and every sitter and location and date for each and every photo that you have printed.
